    When spread betting if I were to bet a stake of any amount and the price of index or share I bet on dropped by one point do I lose my money even if it rises after the initial drop, or can it fall and the rise and I still win? Help please

    When a bet is placed it will close when your stop loss level is reached. If it goes against you without reaching the stop loss point it will stay open and could turn round and become profitable.

Also, most spread betting firm's websites these days have extensive training material, again one shouldnt consider making a bet before such basics have been learnt.
